Lil’ Hitters

2024 Camp Details (See Facebook for Dates / Times)

Batters Box is pleased to host our Lil’ Hitters program, focusing on baseball and softball players aged 2 through 5. Classes will be broken up between “minis” (ages 2 & 3) and “minors” (ages 4 & 5). The session will be taught by co-owner, Coach Casey Shabala, with a focus on throwing, catching, fielding, base running and hitting via fun games and repetitive drills.

Minis Group (Adult & Me Group)

2 - 3 year olds

Designed as an “Adult and Me” fun, first experience, Minis uses foam balls, balloons, bubbles, cones, hula hoops and more to keep the “Minis” engaged!

Minors A Group

4 - 5 year olds

A continuation of Minis where they learn the “next steps” that will help prepare players for future league play. The class transitions to T-balls for fielding and throwing drills

Minors AA Group (Advanced)

4 - 5 year olds

Continuation of Minor A or for those who have played league ball. We focus on fielding positions each week, along with our fundamental drills and live pitching
